Some neighbors simply need help.

Every fall, T.Byrd's installs heating and cooling systems for a few Raleigh and Triangle households, at no cost to the families selected. Nominations stay open year-round.
How it works
Three steps. Nothing complicated.
Step 01
Nominate
Anyone can submit a nomination. Yourself, a family member, a neighbor, someone you know through your community.
Step 02
Review
Each fall, we read every nomination from the year and look for households where a new system would make the biggest difference.
Step 03
Install
The household is contacted. We schedule, install the right-sized system, and commission it before we leave. No cost.

Every nomination is read. Selection isn't guaranteed.
All nominations are kept confidential. We don't share a recipient's story without their permission.
